This acknowledges the contribution of writers in respective social fields or settings and the impact of their work on the society. It must also be noted that where the writers are concerned, the period under review may range between two (2) to five (5) years, at the discretion of the organisers and the EAA Academy.

Those photographs would have been captured by talented and skilled photographers, who deserve to be recognised on a stage as mammoth as the Entertainment Achievement Awards.

It is adjudged by the EAA Academy, as the Entertainment Personality with the most outstanding influence in the year under review. The Entertainment Personality of the Year may come from any of the subcategories of the Entertainment industry.

SPECIAL RECOGNITION AWARD
Presented to personality with long standing service to the development of their respective fields or industry, over the past decades. This category spotlights all aspects of life e.g. Musicians, Sound engineers, Actors and Actresses, Writers, Politicians (Who have demonstrated significant impact on the development of their respective constituencies and ministries), Sportsmen and Women, NGOs and more. During each review cycle of the EAA, the organizers and the EAA Academy shall agree upon one (1) special category that they wish to focus on. The category in question shall then be announced to the public.
